FERNBERGER

Stephen Truax (b. 1985, Glenview, IL) lives and works in Brooklyn. He has his solo debut at Fernberger June 2026. His work has been included in a group exhibition at the FLAG Art Foundation entitled “The Swimmer” alongside an all-star line up of artists. His work has been exhibited at the Tang Teaching Museum at Skidmore College, and the Long Island Museum. He has independently organized numerous exhibitions including "Toward the Light: Artists for the Ali Forney Center" at David Zwirner; "Any distance between us" (2021-2022) at RISD Museum; and "Intimacy" (2018) at Yossi Milo Gallery. His work has been discussed in The New York Times, ARTFORUM, and other publications, and is in the public collection of the 21C Museum Hotel and the Tang Teaching Museum, and the West Virginia University Museum of Art. He earned his BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2007.
